There are chemical elements, graduated cylinders, bubbling flasks, smoking flasks, atomic rings, ball and stick molecules, magnifying glasses, microscopes, light bulbs, chemical formulas and chemical structures. When I see a hexagon, I always think of my organic chemistry class and benzene rings with their alternating single and double bonds in a hexagon shape. I don’t know if that was an intentional part of this design, since I also know that hexagons are popular shapes in the quilting community. Whatever the case may be, this fabric is a fun design for those that love chemistry, and it is simple enough to be enjoyed by scientists of all ages.
